I always get asked what my ideal mate is like, what my preference is, or my type so to speak. While I have to be attracted to my lover, looks fade and personality will always shine through. My idea of the perfect lover, is just an idea. All of my favorite things put into one man doesn't mean all of those things are what I need. Mr. Perfect exists, but he is not perfect for me. With that being said, it baffles me to think that there are still people that think Mr./Mrs. Perfect is anything more than an illusion. Finding a mate isn't like Build-A-Bear, you can't pick out every detail, so why waste your time picking apart good partners looking for all the qualities you think you want?
- While I enjoy a tall man, height does not make a man's character
- While I enjoy a darker skin man, skin tone doesn't change a man's heart
- While I enjoy a sexual man, his sexual prowess doesn't make him a better lover
I feel as though people fail to understand what they need, because they are so blinded by what they want. So how long do you keep looking, before you realize your time and their time will come. You will be at peace and you will be happy, but your dream will come to fruition in the form least expected.
